🦞Triangle OpenClaw Meetup Recap, First Talk Released and Big Announcement for the Claw Community...
🦞Announcing a new addition to the NC Tweener family of brands....TweenerClaw 🦞
On April 9th we hosted the Triangle’s first OpenClaw meetup:
We had well over 100 attendees come to hear 4 OpenClaw experts share their experiences and learnings. It was really invigorating to see this many people that were completely and absolutely Claw Pilled and ClawMAXXing on one room. Everyone’s jaws dropped when an 11 year old started talking about his experience running OpenClaw on a Raspberry Pi running the Kimi 2.6 open source model. What a time to be alive.
We also celebrated our love for the claw by sipping White Claws and dressing appropriately. This OpenClaw enthusiast took the show with his cool lobster shirt, winning the ‘Most Claw’d award’. Congrats Jack!
What the Clawsters want…
The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, so positive we were oversold and had to move to a waitlist unfortunately once we hit capacity for the room. The two big feedback items we received were:
Do this again! We want more!
We want the content available online, can you record the sessions and publish it.
Introducing TweenerClaw
First, let’s start with 'We want more’. We’ve made it this far with the TweenerList, TweenerFund and overall TweenerVerse through one simple principle: listening to the community and providing what they want. To that end, we’re excited to announce a new initiative we call TweenerClaw.
TweenerClaw would not be possible without our awesome sponsors, we want to thank you for your support of this additional new program.
What Does TweenerClaw Mean?
This means many things:
We will be dedicating more content in these pages and our podcast for OpenClaw content
We’ll be hosting more events
We’ll be looking to tie the OpenClaw communities across the state together (👀 at you Charlotte and Asheville Clawsters!)
In fact, here’s your first example, an OpenClaw podcast from the meeting.
Using OpenClaw to Build Autonomous Startups: An experiment in Entrepreneurial Agentic Systems - Corey Nida
One of our speakers at the event was Corey Nida, he is a huge OpenClaw enthusiast running hundreds of agents doing a wide variety of things. His talk at our first meeting was about building a system of agents to research ideas, build those ideas and test them. It was a fascinating look at how OpenClaw’s open agent framework can help you push the boundaries of what AI can do and we all learned a ton.
We were able to piece together the video and audio (we’ll do much better next time, promise) to bring a recording of this talk to you in both audio and video here. These were short ‘bite size’ pieces of content so this clicks in at 16 minutes.
We recommend downloading the slides here to follow along→
